Cakes and Beyond

Welcome! I'm posting on this page all the cakes & desserts that I've created. All of my cakes are homemade, covered in homemade buttercream frosting, and decorated with homemade marshmallow fondant, almond and chocolate flavored (This is fondant that you will actually want to eat). I have several cake flavors and am always looking for new flavors to try. Quality is the most important thing to me in my cakes - I won't make something that tastes bad just to look good and neither will I make something that tastes good but is boring.

A year for cupcakes!

Well if I have any readers left, I'm happy to report that though I have not been blogging I have however been baking! Here are a few cakes and cupcakes that I've made this past year. I'll categorize them later for easier browsing- but just to catch up, here they all are in one post! Happy browsing!


Robin's Eggs Cupcakes
(New & delicious flavor- Sweet Potato Cupcake! w/ Vanilla Buttercream)

Accompanied by Chocolate Cupcakes decorated as grass

Above are the flower button cupcakes that accompanied the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) end of the year cake. Went with Chocolate Cake & Cookie dough filling, and of course chocolate buttercream to cover it all in decadence.


Finally, below is a quick little cake done to celebrate the 30th birthday of a friend.

I've got one more post and that should take care of all the cakes/cupcakes this year!
