This was a last minute cake for a friend's birthday recently. I didn't really have time to plan anything out, so it was fun to just decide the design as I went. I'm really excited with the new way of lettering that I came up with in the moment. And, it's hard to tell from the pictures, but I had two different colors of frosting that I melded together on the cake. It was yellow & pink swirled together. I love the effect, though one thing to note is that you must do your smoothing in the least amount of strokes possible otherwise they meld too much together. I'll keep that in mind for next time.
