Cakes and Beyond

Welcome! I'm posting on this page all the cakes & desserts that I've created. All of my cakes are homemade, covered in homemade buttercream frosting, and decorated with homemade marshmallow fondant, almond and chocolate flavored (This is fondant that you will actually want to eat). I have several cake flavors and am always looking for new flavors to try. Quality is the most important thing to me in my cakes - I won't make something that tastes bad just to look good and neither will I make something that tastes good but is boring.

Cascading Flower Wedding Cake





Here's my first wedding cake. Thanks to Viki & Ben for entrusting me with their wedding cake! I hope they thoroughly enjoyed the cake, visually & for taste! The top tier was lemon berry, middle was marble with chocolate chips, and the bottom was my classic chocolate. All were covered with almond buttercream frosting, and the flowers were fondant. This was a great experience and I hope to get more orders like this in the future.

However! I won't be accepting any new cake orders until June 2010 as I'm due to have twins this coming March. I'll probably post at least 1 or 2 cakes late spring though (for my husband & kids' birthdays) so keep a look out for those! Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
