Cakes and Beyond

Welcome! I'm posting on this page all the cakes & desserts that I've created. All of my cakes are homemade, covered in homemade buttercream frosting, and decorated with homemade marshmallow fondant, almond and chocolate flavored (This is fondant that you will actually want to eat). I have several cake flavors and am always looking for new flavors to try. Quality is the most important thing to me in my cakes - I won't make something that tastes bad just to look good and neither will I make something that tastes good but is boring.

Feel free to browse and click the contact button to email me if you want a cake!

Flower Cake Pops!

Yes, yes . . . to all who know me, you'll be surprised that I made anything bite sized. I've always found decorating for a bite or two bites to not only be tedious but completely ridiculous (thus why I've stuck with cakes rather than cupcakes). No offense to you brave souls who create cupcakes, you should be honored for your patience to meticulously decorate not just one item, but 50 at a time! All that to say, I think I might have been won over. Cake pops are not only delicious (I mean what could be bad about cake, frosting & chocolate?!), but they present really well and create a great final product. Above are two different decorating options, one with marshmallow fondant and the other with candy. And yes, I was enjoying that bite while I took the picture. :-) Enjoy!

  1. You recently mentioned your favorite cupcake on Bakerella - chocolate with almond buttercream frosting. Sounds delicious! Would you consider sharing the recipe?
